Shoot Update: We’re officially in production
We are excited to share that our first two filming trips for In the Wake of Giants are now complete.
The journey began on the wild coastline of Nyinggulu (Ningaloo) in Western Australia, where the red sands of the desert meet the turquoise sea. The landscape itself was breathtaking, and our time on the water gave us a deeper sense of why this region is so special and worth protecting.
From there we travelled to remote Indonesian islands. We swam alongside blue whales and spent time with local communities whose lives are deeply tied to the ocean. Listening to their stories and seeing how tradition and conservation come together has been inspiring.
A Milestone for the Film
It has been moving, challenging and unforgettable. These first shoots have already shown us what we hoped to find: that when people and nature work together, both can thrive.
This is only the beginning. We are back in the edit room, piecing together what we have captured and preparing for the next stage of filming.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. We could not have made it this far without you. We will continue to share updates as the journey unfolds.
